It’s a short walk to the Kenmore Starbucks just around the corner on 522.
Favorite Restaurant in the Area:
Honey Bear Bread company at Third Place Commons on 522 & 104.
Favorite Places to Go:
My wife and I are always on the Burke-Gilman Trail, either on our bikes or just walking.
Best Features of the Home:
The nice view in the back from the deck or the patio on the ground floor of the (very green) Blue Heron Preserve. The location is very convenient to either highway 405 or 5. We never hear anyone on either side of us, the units are very quiet.
Favorite Room:
The living room is by far the best room in the house, with the deck to the back and the gas fireplace. In the afternoons after work I often will sit by the 8 foot patio door in the living room and read. It’s very quite. Of course my wife loves the kitchen especially with the extra counter space that we added.
Any Remodeling Since Last Sale Price?:
We added an extra 8 1/2 foot counter space with matching cabinets in the kitchen. This includes a lowered counter which functions as a desk. We also added ceiling fans in both bedrooms.
Most Romantic Spot:
The Saint Edwards park is a short drive away. We have had some lovely walks and picnics there. The city of Kenmore also has live music at the park through July and August.
What’s in the neighborhood?:
There is a great Starbucks that we walk to often and also a Safeway and drug store a very short drive away.
What I Will Miss the Most:
We have lived here for 3 years and we will miss the neighbors. There is a great bunch of people living here.
