Coffee Shop of Choice:
The Starbucks in Fairwood Square.  It has great hours and is never too busy.

Favorite Restaurant in the Area:
Fairwood Thai – They serve great curry chicken and take-out is very fast.  Fairwood also has great teriyaki, chinese food, mexican food, pizza and several fast food restaurants.

Favorite Places to Go:
Fairwood is just up the street from the newly remodeled Westfield Southcenter Mall.  We love catching a movie and going to one of the many restaurants.  We also like to visit Coulon Park for a walk along Lake Washington and a quick bite at Ivar’s.

Best Features of the Home:
We love how comfortable, inviting and modern the home is.  Every room is both functional and beautiful.  The living room is warm and spacious with a gas fireplace.  The kitchen has gorgeous cherry cabinets, rich hardwood floors and lots of counter space.  The house is on a large corner lot and has beautiful landscaping with fenced private back yard.  There is also a beautifully designed master suite.

Has there been any remodeling since you purchased the home?:
We purchased the home as new construction and added several thousand dollars in upgrades at the time the home was built, but we have continued improving it.  We added travertine tile floors in the master bathroom.  We installed crown moulding in the master bedroom, master bathroom and main bathroom.  We installed french doors to the den.  We also spent a lot of time landscaping the entire yard.

Favorite Room:
My favorite room is this house is the master bedroom  and attached master bathroom.  The bedroom is spacious and bright with a large picture window.  The five piece master bath has travertine tile floors and a jetted spa tub.  The walk-in closet has custom built-in organizers that make organization simple.

Most Romantic Spot:
Walking around the neighborhood, there are spectacular sunset and downtown Seattle views.  There are also several parks where you can sit on a bench and take time to talk or reflect.

What’s in the neighborhood?:
Woodside is cleverly tucked away, but within minutes of shopping and restaurants.  There are miles of walking/nature trails circling the neighborhood, as well several playgrounds and barbeque areas.  There is a trailhead near the entrance of the neighborhood leading to two King County Parks bike trails.  Petrovitsky Park borders Woodside and has well-maintained sports fields and a large, modern playground  The elementary and junior high schools are within walking distance.

What you will miss most:
I will miss the back yard the most.  I love the private garden we have created.  We have spent a lot of time selecting the plants that are not only beautiful, but low maintenance.  It is nice to have a backyard sanctuary, that doesn’t take up all our free time to maintain.  We will miss the park-like atmosphere that embodies Woodside.  From Petrovitsky Park, to the beautifully landscaped common areas and neighborhood parks.
