South of Market, Just North of $300,000

Redfin SF’s most-clicked on property comes with a $309,000 price tag and is located two blocks away from the Moscone Center. SocketSite had an entertaining discussion this week about 400 square feet, $400,000 studios hitting the market. Many of the better comments came from, “single people who would love to own something”. What a sad state of affairs in the downtown SF condo market, seriously. To those, “single people,” we present today’s Sweet Dig as a nice alternative. Unless you are resolute in surrounding yourself in new construction (it was built in 1912) you can enjoy a good deal more space: 570 square feet total.

The entire building was remodeled and it shows inside. Only the opera and symphony crowd would turn their nose at it. The photos are slightly misleading. I think I was looking at three different kitchens from the other units in the building. There’s spread-out space on the porch, but only for one person.
