Berkeley: Riot of Color not Wowing the Crowds
Maybe it’s not just me who favors muted colors in a home. The price of this 3-bedroom Edwardian on Woolsey in downtown Berkeley that I reviewed on February 5th has just been reduced from $770,000 to $729,000 after barely a month on the market. It seems someone is in a hurry to sell.

The true reason why buyers aren’t biting is not always apparent. In this case it may be that the strong saturated colors both inside and on the outside of this house just aren’t to many people’s taste.
The fact that the decoration is very put together might be a turn-off – new homebuyers like to put their own stamp on a place. Or maybe people think the neighborhood is a little “iffy”.
It’s open this Sunday 25th if you want to reach your own conclusion.
