Fly Away?
Okay, I know the San Francisco Bay Area is really expensive, but…this is just plain sad I tell ya! My cousin has her house on the market in McDonough, Georgia (about a 1 hour drive south of Atlanta) for $1,250.000.00. It is approx 8500 sq ft, on almost 1 acre situated on the 5th hole of a world-class golf course in a gated community. It has 4 large bedrooms, 4 full baths, 2 half baths, a full gym,

steam shower, sauna and a home theater.

It has a large 2 story marble entry with a crystal chandelier and a floating staircase going upstairs where 2 of the four bedrooms are with a loft and wet bar. This floor also contains a cedar closet and room to expand out another 2,000 sq ft. The master is on the main floor that also contains a dining room, library, two story great room that has windows on one complete wall overlooking the golf course, kitchen, breakfast area and a keeping room. The guest suite is on the bottom floor that is a walkout basement into a formal garden with a fountain.

It has 3 fireplaces, 2 water heaters, a 3 car garage, a golf cart room and lots of storage.
I figure I could own my own jet and commute to work in the Bay Area and just about break even. Where’s the justice in that? I think I will go scream now. Oh, wait a minute, everyone on my block will hear me.
