The Garage Saga Continues

Our San Francisco maven, Anna, has been working on a three-part series on “Why We Love Garages.” While those of us in suburbia may not be able to completely understand the trials and tribulations of parking in a large city and owning a home without a garage, it is of obvious importance to many, and Anna clearly has hit the nail on the head. (Part 1 is here and Part 2 is here, if you want to catch up. Part 3 is soon to come.) Meanwhile, I noticed a home at 3009 26th Street that just came on Redfin 2 days ago, is in our Top 3 Daily Listings today, is located in San Francisco, and has a GARAGE! Not to mention, the price seems reasonable at $649,000. I mean, isn’t the garage alone worth that?

Openhousevictorian

Listed as a fully detached Victorian, it officially has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, but there is a small 3rd room that could function as a bedroom/nursery/office. The yard is described as wonderfully accessible (who comes up with these terms and what do they mean?), and the GARAGE has extra storage. Unfortunately, there are no images available as yet of this property, so it could be one of those hideous multi-colored painted ladies (not all multi-colored painted ladies are hideous, just those with the fluorescent hues), or it could have other visual deficiencies. So, I suggest you judge for yourself at the open house this weekend. It will be available for viewing on Sunday, March 25th from 2-4pm.
