Upcoming Home Forum + Exhibition
Dwell magazine is presenting an educational forum on evolving techniques used to shape our “domestic space.” Called “The Intelligent House Forum + Exhibition,” it is being help April 27-29 at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. While I realize this is not being held in the Bay Area where all you readers live, if you happen to be going down there, or want to know more about this type of habitat, it should be a worthwhile investment of your time.
Themes:
Materials + Ecology
Demography + Community
Sense + Interface
BONUS: This forum + exhibition is being held in conjunction with “Open House: Architecture and Technology for Intelligent Living,” a 3-month exhibit featuring ten “intelligent homes” by up-and-coming international architects. These unique homes will let you glimpse into what the future has to hold for homeowners and for our planet. The exhibit runs from April 14 to July 1 and admission is free to the public.
