SF: A Recent…Increase (?) in Asking Price

dollar2 SF: A Recent...Increase (?) in Asking Price

We all love to read about properties whose Bay Area-inflated price tags have been slashed. But for entirely different reasons, we might be interested in a place whose price has not been lowered, but has in fact been raised.

This SOMA district one bedroom TIC has done just that, joining us on the market at $499,000 and now being offered for $505,000. We have to speculate: why? Was gold discovered in one of the water faucets? Is there hidden treasure in the attic? Is there a big pile of cash sitting in the bedroom closet? Really, people. In a slump-ish market, you have to want to take a closer look at a property whose price started high… and has since ascended.
