SF: Single-Family Nirvana with Freeway Access

exterior SF: Single Family Nirvana with Freeway Access

Why should such a pretty home be only $496 a sq. ft? (Not cheap, no; I’m using SF’s impossible “norm” here.) Perhaps because it is extremely close to the freeway: that’s not a rushing river you’ll hear 24 hours a day; it’s traffic. But if you can grow used to that, or if you are a commuter and such a sound makes you think only that your daily drive will be easier, you may have found your nirvana. This is a very comfortably appointed and well laid out single-family home, with 3 beds, 2.5 baths, and a built in office in the bonus loft space (equipped with an astonishing view).

The home itself is less than 10 years old and honestly it looks like no one has lived in yet. The kitchen surfaces, all remodeled and gleaming, have nary a fingerprint as blemish; the polished floors show no sign of scuff.

Yet you can easily imagine as small family living here, gathering by the fireplace on cool days or for a BBQ on the amazing (yet low maintenance) Trex deck when the sun’s out, or slipping into the Jacuzzi under the stars while enjoying their favorite album- speakers make your own outdoor home theater here. This little palace in Bernal Heights is definitely worth a look at one of the Open Houses: Thursday 5/10 5 – 8 PM Sat and Sun 5/12 & 5/13 1:30 – 4:30 PM; and it should be away for you to get here, since, remember, it’s right off the freeway.
