Palo Alto: Reason #366 for Living Here*
We have an Apple Store.
It is 8:35 am, Saturday, July 7 — exactly 7 days, 14 hours and 35 minutes since the first iPhones began shipping – yet there is still a line wrapped around the Apple Store, waiting for the new batch to arrive.
One thing that surprised me was the demographics of the people waiting to buy an iPhone. I expected 20-something hipsters, but instead observed that there were a wide range of age groups represented.
