Living in Proximity to #756
As much of the Bay Area awaits Barry Bonds homerun #756, and hoping it is achieved at AT&T Park, I thought it might be interesting to see what is within walking distance of this historic event-to-be. This also means you will be within walking distance of multiple transit systems, some great food (mushroom cigars at Paragon, to-die-for vacherin at Coco 500, and Caribbean fries at Primo Patio), grocery shopping, banking, and multiple other retail stores.
Directly across from Willie Mays Plaza is 188 King Street, which is our Daily Stats leader today. Unit #207 is available for $1,550,000. A 2 bedroom, 3 bath 1800 square foot loft, I appreciate the look and feel of this place, which is a bit less open than many lofts of this size, not to mention it is staged very well. For those of you not in the market for something a little less pricey, you can check out 260 King Street, Unit 753, priced at $529,000. A three-year-old 1/1 in the Mission Bay, it is pretty bare bones, but you do get a parking space and doorman. Unit 535 is also available for $899,000. This one is a 2/2 corner unit with 1200 sf. Priced in between is 177 Townsend Street, Unit 422, which is listed for $829,000. This is a newly built 2/2 with nice brick facade that meshes with the neighborhood. (Boy, I remember when they dug the hole in the ground on this one!) Bonus: McDonald’s is just steps away!
Also available are:
88 King Street #1018, 2/2. 1090 sf, $1,200,000
88 King Street #421, 2/2, 1145 sf, $869,000
207 King Street #502, ½, sf unk, $869,000
250 King Street #1616, 2/2, sf unk, $1,600,000
It just so happens that I have tickets to the game tonight, courtesy of my husband’s company. We groaned when we were given the tickets back in May, as we had no desire to see the Nationals play, but with history on the line, we may just fight the crowds and attend the game. Whaddya think?
