Pennypinchers’ Delight in Pinole
Right off Interstate 80, Pinole is about a half-hour’s drive from San Francisco or Oakland and has some nifty views from the rolling hills that dominate the landscape. It’s quiet and has some great deals, both housewise and shoppingwise, with the Pinole Vista Shopping Center which is continuous with Richmond’s Hilltop Area. Prices are dropping, in one case (the last listing) as much as $60,000.
