A Bridge Not Too Far

The joys of small-town living are manifold – generous amounts of open space, even near downtown; friendly people, knowing your neighbors, lotsa parks. And speaking of parks, every one of these residences is no further than 10 blocks or so from Benicia’s Civic Center Park, though as you can see the prices are easy on the pocketbook. And it’s easy to get to Highway 80, just a short hop over the new Benicia Bridge. Strictly speaking, Benicia is not Contra Costa County, it’s Solano County, but it’s very much a part of the whole zeitgeist and close to the border. So just this once, we’ll stretch a bit and offer a glimpse of some recent sales in this lovely town. (Photo: State of California)
