Oakland Sales: Selling in the Swanky Nabes
Recent Oakland homes selling over the $1 million mark have been concentrated in the following neighborhoods:
1) Trestle Glen and Crocker Highlands (94610)
2) Rockridge and Claremont (94618) and
3) Piedmont and the Oakland Hills (94611).
In 1 month’s time (10/17/07-11/17/07) about 16 homes in these neighborhoods have closed. The majority of sales around Oakland in this same time period (too many to list here, about 140 or so) were under $700,000 with the lowest, 2618 23rd Ave., a 2bd/1ba 971 SF, going for $125,000 on 11/8/07.
