SF: Real Stats
Most realtors I read the blogs of or speak to in person paint a pretty sunshine-and-puppies-in-baskets type picture of SF real estate. Bubble? Only the kind that protects its insides, repelling all the bad out there (like foreclosures and tanking home sales). And while I still see PLENTY of realtors driving Mercedes with plates like “ISELLSF,” this recent data posted on San Francisco Schtuff, comparing Nov/06 single-family home sales to Nov/07, show there might be some small holes in that bubble after all. Then again, maybe the ups and downs are normal, even in a healthy (or ridiculous) market like ours. Read the data, and tell me what you think.
