What’s New on the Mid-Peninsula?
A few homes have come on the market in the last week, seven to be exact. Not much on the lower end to speak of, but some beautiful big ones to take a look at. If you feel like braving the rain and the wind, most of them will be open this weekend.

This home sold in April of 2006 for $756,000 and was torn down to its foundation and rebuilt, so we are talking brand new here. I do think, however, that it is a tad overpriced. (FYI: 1938 Birch, a 3/2, 1820 sf sold in June, after 6 days on the market for $1,330,000, which was 13% above asking.)

Over 13 years ago, my parents and I looked at this property to buy together. It was a bit out of our price range, but I liked the idea of having family next door.
