Let’s Party in San Ramon

party Lets Party in San RamonI have to say I really like today’s Daily Stat Leader, for a variety of reasons. My first impression of 5032 Westside Drive in San Ramon, was that it was a great place to throw a party; a big kitchen with sweeping views, making meal prep quite enjoyable; a large terraced patio with a pool and spa, and same sweeping views (which probably look magnificent at night); and either a formal living room (great for cocktails) or a super-big 873 sf family room which could double as a pub setting. The house itself is over 4000 square feet and sits on over one-half acre, which is my kinda property. A bonus is that there is no home in front or behind you, with open space surrounding. A high-end home when it was built 7 years ago, it appears to be well maintained and there have been some updates, such as new carpeting. The downside for buyers is the price tag: $1,550,000, which is on the high side for a Daily Stat Leader. There is also a downside for the sellers, in that the purchase price in 2005 was $1,650,000, meaning that this could be a short sale (and given the comps, the house could be a tad overpriced).

Cheap Trick: I did a little research into the last sale of this home in 2005, and the same EXACT pictures were used at that time. So there are no current photos of the home on the listing page. Is that a lazy realtor or is there something wrong this time around they don’t want to photograph?
