It was a happy accident that brought me today’s Daily Stat leader. Somehow a SoCal listing was our top property yesterday. While this does not happy very often, I usually ignore it, but the picture had me hooked enough to read the description, and sure enough….the 11.23 acre property comes with a complete baseball (and football) field! This is a first in my book. Never have I seen a property listed with this amenity before, and I thought I had seen it all. Perfect for the avid player, the large family that can field its own team, or a wannabe Omar Visquel.

Overall, this Camarillo listing looks a bit like a modern cattle ranch gone MLB. The home, situated amongst rolling hills, is nothing fancy schmancy, just a comfy-looking two-story home; a contemporary version of what you might find out on the range (except it consists of 6 bedrooms, 7 baths and 6,400 sf). In addition to the house and baseball field, there is a large detached garage unit with two large bay doors, perfect for a yacht, tour bus, semi truck, or other very tall vehicle, as well as 3 regular garage-sized doors. You also get a pool and separate spa. Of course, the price tag ($3,599,000) is one that only professional ball players can probably afford, but this is one of those places you just gotta see to believe.
