Condos: A Way into Marin

Marin is a high priced county.  With the lastest median priced of single family homes coming in at $990,000, it’s not an easy place to settle and be a homeowner.  But for those of you looking to enjoy la dolce vita of Marin and don’t have a cool mil to spend, condos are a decent option and have shown relatively decent price appreciation as with the rest of the Marin market.

Below are a few condos that have recently come onto the market:37740960 thb Condos: A Way into Marin

838 Sir Francis Drake Blvd #2, Kentfield – 1 bed, 1 bath, 924SF – $467,700:  This 1 bedroom unit is centrally located on SFD and has an attached 2 car garage.  Good for couples with two cars, I guess.  Nice fireplace, deck and straight on views of Mt. Tam.

99 Ashford Ave, Mill Valley – 2 beds, 1 bath, 1,197SF – $529,000:  This Mill Valley condo is brand new to the market and boasts a decent footprint at just under 1200SF.  Also has its owner washer/dryer and a detached one car garage.  Almost close to single family home living.

1105 S Eliseo Dr #2c, Greenbrae – 2 beds, 2 baths, 1,266SF – $690,000:  Right on Corte Madera creek, this condo has direct access to the waterway.  Short sale approved.
