$1 Million Plus Homes Selling Quickly in Marin

No doubt Marin is one of the more wealthy and expensive counties in the bay.  And this week a number of $1 million plus homes went on in contract – all within 2 weeks of coming onto the market.  This is sign that 1) money is still not an issue in Marin  2) those who have a large budget don’t seem to be affected by the mortgage crunch  and 3) the market for high priced homes seems alive and well in Marin.

40 Corte Patencio,  Greenbrae – 4 beds, 2 baths – $1,248,000: A third of an acre in very desirable Greenbrae.  House sits on a cul de sac and has a great play area with a play house… bonus points for family with kids. 

35 Wolfe Glen Way Greenbrae – 4 beds, 3 baths – $1,999,000:  While the address says Greenbrae, the listing and the area places this home in desirable Kentfield.  Off of Wolf Grade and sitting on almost half an acre with pool.  Kitchen could use some updating but the rest of the 3,000SF+ house looks attractive – enough to get this propert an offer within 10 days.

1349 San Anselmo Ave, San Anselmo - 4 beds, 4.5 baths – $2,200,000:  This house was custom built with everything in mind in 2001.  Last sale price of $1,600,000 in 2003 gets this home a pretty health investment.
