The original house was 1940 - I think they must have left part of the foundation and called it a remodel a few years ago, rather than a total tear down and reconstruct.</description>

		<description>Wow, 9000 sq ft! The only thing I can think of that should be that big is a ... barn.  And thats just what the inside of this thing looks like, complete with hay loft!  Built 1940?  Nah, this couldn&#039;t be an old packing shed?  Why, I remember driving through the orchards in blossom in spring, cherries and apricots mostly. Beautiful, back before all that rich soil got covered in asphalt.
Going to need one heck of a ladder to get the spiders down from that ceiling, too. Those old barns were chilly and drafty, with lots of cobwebs.</description>
