Albany: On the Market and An Open House
While tiny compared to other Bay Area cities, Albany homes continue to sell. Redfin database shows 26 mapped properties for sale; I’ve highlighted five below. Prices range from the lowest at $288,000 for a 1/1 condo (see 555 Pierce St. #1232) to the highest of $899,00 for this 5/2.5 Victorian at 1115 Dartmouth St. (Which, btw, has not sold in 90+ days and thus could give you even more leverage in this buyer’s market.) Another property getting a bit long in the tooth is 1108 Kains Ave. On the large side for an Albany home (4bd/3ba and 1850 SF) the home has been on the market for over 100 days. And if you’re in the mood for viewing an open house this weekend, I found one listing at 942 Pomona Ave., open Sunday from 2pm-5pm. Happy Fourth of July everyone!
