Hawaii in Berkeley, Italy in Berkeley and Plain Berkeley: Price Cuts
Whether it’s Hawaii or Italy in Berkeley that you lust for, you can get a version of either for less money than a few weeks ago.
It’s taken a mere 67 days for 1730 Sonoma Avenue (above), a 3/2.5 home in north Berkeley described as “Hawaii in Berkeley” (and also as “Woodside annexed to Berkeley”) to see two price cuts: from an original $1,849,000, via $1,595,000, to its current $1,485,000 sticker tag.
Meanwhile, the 4/5.5 “Italianate villa” at 250 The Uplands which started out at $3.6 million, could now, after nearly 100 days on the market (not 13 as listed on Redfin), be yours for 17% less at $2,995,000.
There are several other price reductions of note this week.
919 Pardee Street (pictured above left), a 2/2.5 loft designed by Regan Bice, has slashed $100,000 off its March starting price of $849,000.
47 Vicente Place (pictured above right), a 2+/2.5 contemporary home in upper Claremont with views, was $989,000 in April. Now it is listed at $949,000.
And, after only 23 days on Redfin, 1142 Keith Avenue, a 4/3 contemporary, also with Bay views, has been reduced from $1,050,000 to $975,000.
