Favorite room in the house:

Our favorite room in the house is the huge and bright eat-in country kitchen. It offers a great place to cook and entertain a crowd of friends. It has sweeping countertops, abundant storage, and views of lush landscaping.

Has there been any remodeling since you purchased the home?:

We had couple of major updates to the house. We installed a new roof, central heat/AC, dual-pane windows, water softener system, and water heater.

Most romantic spot in the home or neighborhood:

The open living room/formal dining room is a great space to relax in front of a cozy wood burning fireplace. You can recline on the sofa, listen to the calming sound of wind chimes outside on the front porch, and look out the huge dining room window to watch leaves on the Japanese maple dancing with the breeze.

What’s in the neighborhood?:

This house is located in historic “Old Quad” neighborhood, filled with Craftsmans and Victorians. It would be perfect for a professor/student working/attending Santa Clara University because it’s just a short 10 minutes walk to campus. CalTrain station is just across the street from campus and would be ideal for any professional who prefer to not sit in traffic and having to spend more than $4/gal on gas.
