Just go to AMF lanes on a Friday night if you dare to find out what Pinole is like now. Shootings have become commonplace in Pinole and the auto theft rate is astronomical. The Pinole police force is overwhelmed trying to supress gang activity in the area. It would probably be better to pay more and live in Hercules, if you are looking for a place in this locale.
