Labor Day weekend is upon us and the town of Sausalito must have done some type of weather dance. With the annual 
Sausalito Art Festival kicking off with its gala event on Friday, the blend of superb weather forecast and a great town with amazing views are sure to draw a crowd of people.
Sausalito, which often reminds me of a chic Italian costal town, is the perfect spot for this festival, which has been occuring annally since 1952. Its long history has put this event on the festival road map. It draws both U.S. and international artists and more than 20,000 pieces of original art will be on display (and available for purchase!).
So while you are strolling the art scene at the festival, make your way up the hills to also scan the Sausalito homes.
