Hi David,
I have the exact same problem! I hate it. And I always thought cats dug holes to do their business but no....not always. So I invariably have a 'surprise' when I step out of my car into the flower bed. I've tried Critter Ridder and some other product that did not work, and managed to kill a couple of my plants. If you ever hear of something that chases them off and is not toxic let me know, please! Thank you for pointing this dilemma out. - Sue

What's annoying is that cats invariably do their business in my yard, and since they're let out by their owners (and active at night), I don't know whose cats they are and they're never picked up after, unlike dogs.
