Rarely have I seen home sellers offer lease options.  Back in the hey day, they were pretty much non-existent.  Today, a scroll on Craigslist found more than I expected.  One common trait – all the homes below are vacant.  Which means the seller is willing to just get some warm body in there who can start paying the bills.

 30 Oak Knoll Dr, San Anselmo – 5 beds, 3 baths – $1,375,000, $4100 per month lease option:  This is a brand new home in San Anselmo.  The new owner or renter will be the very first party to live in this large lot.  It’s been reduced on Craigslist to $1,295,000 and advertised as 0% down, owner will finance.

378 Sausalito Blvd, Sausalito - 2 beds, 1 bath – $900,000, $3750 per month lease option:  Listed on Craigslist, this is a top floor condo unit with your typical, drop dead gorgeous Sausalito views.  Everything is upgraded and new.

290 Fawn Dr, San Anselmo - 4 beds, 3 baths – $1,099,000:  On the market for over 90 days now, the owner has lowered it from the original ask of $1,195,000 and willing to do a lease option.

73 Graceland Drive, San Rafael – 4 beds, 3 baths – $3300 lease option:  In hills in central San Rafael is this Craigslist listing.  No pics but the description sounds decent.

149 Lakeside Dr, Corte Madera - 3 beds, 2 baths – $3995 lease option:  Listed as a rental, but owners willing to explore a lease option to purchase.
