The spring selling season is upon us, and it’s evident in the amount of celebrity (and other notable) homes bought and sold in the past few days. From Cher, to Judd Apatow, to “King of Queens” star Kevin James, everyone seems to be on the move. Keep reading for all the details!

Cher is on a selling spree! On April 1 she found a buyer for her home in Venice, which she listed on March 21 for $1,899,500. The modern home has high ceilings, sliding glass walls, a rooftop deck with built-in-barbeque and a master suite with a fireplace and large walk-in closet. Cher purchased the home on May 13, 2010, for $1,542,500. But that’s not all; on March 22, Cher sold her West Hollywood condo for an undisclosed amount, though TMZ reports it was $5.25 million. She purchased two connected units in the building in 2006 for a total of $3 million. According to Curbed, she hired high-end interior designer (and star of Bravo’s Million-Dollar Decorators) Martyn Lawrence Bullard to redesign the place. TMZ also reports that Cher is trying to sell her Malibu compound for a whopping $41 million. The Spanish-style home is 13,126 square feet and has six bedrooms and seven baths.

Apparently “King of Queens” star Kevin James is the king of Encino. He just listed his resort-like mansion for nearly $5.5 million. The five bedroom, nine bath house has a state-of-the-art home theater, Crestron Home Automation system, a massive gym, luxurious spa and gourmet chef’s kitchen. According to the listing, the master suite is “a sumptuous sanctuary offering a sitting area w/ fireplace, his and hers baths, and a dressing room equally befitting a posh boutique on Rodeo Dr.” The actor (whose real last name is Knipfing), purchased the home in August 2003 for $3.2 million.

Director Judd Apatow and his wife, actress Leslie Mann, purchased this Malibu home on March 19, 2013. The final sale price is undisclosed, but it was listed for $10,950,000. They purchased the home from late Pretty Woman producer Laura Ziskin. According to Curbed, it’s the latest in a long string of real estate purchases for the comedy duo; last year they bought a patch of land in Santa Monica for $8.6M, in 2009 they dropped $18.25M on a Brentwood manse, and Apatow still owns the Beverly Hills Post Office-area home he bought in 2005 for $1.656M.

This big home is owned by “Big Poppa” – the love interest of Kim Zolciak, who appeared on “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Big Poppa’s real name is Lee Najjar, and he’s been trying to sell his Atlanta home since September 2009, when he listed it for $25 million. It was relisted on April 1 for $19.9 million. The home itself is a bit of a celebrity. It was the set of the “Three Stooges” movie, and played the part of Bill Murray’s home in “Zombieland.” It also made a few appearances on “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” and was showcased on MTV’s “Teen Cribs” by Najjar’s teens Jamen and Katelin.

Nadya Suleman, otherwise known as “Octomom,” foreclosed on this La Habra home last summer. The new owner purchased it from the bank in December 2012 for $492,000, and promptly went to work remodeling it. It’s now back on the market for $649,900. Redfin Agent Nani Luculescu toured the home five months ago, when the bank was trying to sell it, and left this insight: “Original kitchen with pinkish countertops & holes in the ceiling where a toilet leak from upstairs was cut out. Backyard has artificial grass and some graffiti that still shows despite the attempt to paint over it. Master has nice jacuzzi tub & remodeled shower stall.” Based on the listing photos, it looks like the kitchen countertop has been replaced and holes repaired, and the backyard graffiti removed.

The Beverly Hills home once owned by Patty Duke and rented by Sharon Tate just sold for $5,650,000. Duke rented this home while married to Harry Falk, and lived there while filming “Valley of the Dolls,” which will go down in history as one of the most hilariously horrible movies ever made. Later on Sharon Tate and Roman Polanskirented the home from Duke. The Polanski’s wanted to buy it, but Duke didn’t want to sell, so they settled for the house at 10050 Cielo Drive, where Tate was murdered in 1969.

A sale is pending on the Malibu home owned by Elliot Handler, the co-founder of Mattel. Handler lived in the home for more than 20 years before his death. He and his wife, Ruth Handler, developed some of the biggest-selling toys in American history, including Barbie dolls and Hot Wheels. Their home has entertaining rooms, a bar area, a library/game room, an attached tea room, and a large oceanfront master bedroom suite with a private patio, but the decor is much more mid-century modern than Barbie Malibu Dreamhouse.

From 1991-1997, Josephson served as vice president of production at Columbia Pictures, where he was responsible for such hits as “Men in Black,” “Air Force One,” “The Fifth Element,” and “Anaconda.” Privately gated and at the end of a cul-de-sac, this East Coast traditional home overlooks the ocean with views of Catalina and Palos Verdes. The master suite has a sweeping deck that takes advantage of the fabulous view.

A sale is pending on the Dallas home owned by Texas Rangers’ starting pitcher Derek Holland. Holland first listed the home in June 2012 for $1.4 million, but took it off the market a month later. He relisted it on February 19, 2013, for the same price. On March 13 he dropped the price to $1.25 million, which must have done the trick! The home includes a gym, game room, home theater, an outdoor living area with a fireplace and TV, and modern touches such as blue lighting underneath the kitchen inset.

You can see her sense of style in the listing photos; unique statues and artwork adorn the walls, and the furniture has a rustic contemporary feel.

Robert Blackwill, an American lobbyist and retired diplomat, just listed his Pacific Palisades home for $3,395,000. Blackwill was the United States Ambassador to India, and United States National Security Council Deputy for Iraq, where he was a liaison between Paul Bremer and Condoleezza Rice. He purchased the home in 2009 for $2,575,000. Based on the listing photos, it looks like Blackwill brought back a lot of furniture and décor from his travels.

Brizzi, together with his brother Gaëtan, worked as a storyboard/concept artist and sequence director on many beloved children’s movies and TV shows, including “Babar,” “DuckTales The Movie,” “The Hunchback of Notre Dame,” “Tarzan” and “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.” The contemporary home offers unobstructed mountain and ocean views and skylights in the dining and living areas to let in the Malibu sun.
